The Education Committee will be teaming with the Programs Committee in 2012 to provide green building training and educational opportunities for Green Meets, Lunch + LEED programs, and other chapter and partner events.

In addition, the chapter’s leaders and educational advisors will be creating and offering a wide range of locally developed courses and USGBC nationally developed courses.

Courses will focus on continuing to raise public awareness about green building, increasing technical knowledge of green, facilitating the accreditation of LEED professionals and accelerating the certification of LEED projects in the San Diego region.
