GAP Project

The U.S. Green Building Council-San Diego (USGBC-SD) and the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation are teaming up to offer an 80-hour hands-on training. Each session will cover a specific area of sustainability and green operations in the form of a traditional classroom session, complemented by a hands-on component to enhance the learning experience. Each distinct area of sustainability will be covered in general, using the LEED rating system as a framework and example. The classes will be offered monthly starting December 1, 2015.  Please see full timeline of sessions below.

COST: Participation in the Green Assistance Program is FREE to the San Diego Green Building Council Members thanks to the generous support from SDG&E


If you are not a San Diego Green Building Council Member, we ask that you join before participating in the Green Assistance Program. Memberships start at $35 a year and scholarships are available for Diamond Neighborhoods residents.
