What Are USGBC Chapters?
USGBC Chapters are the local voice of USGBC, and chapter leaders and members are the heart of USGBC's grassroots efforts. Members join as individuals at one of the 79 chapters and act locally to realize USGBC's mission of transforming the built environment within a generation. The USGBC Chapter network opens the door for you to promote sustainable building, advocate for green-friendly policies, and build networks of allies where it matters most – in your local community. Chapter members are essential to raising awareness of LEED and green building through education, outreach and advocacy.
