      <description><![CDATA[The mission of the USGBC-San Diego Education Committee is to raise public awareness about green building, increase technical knowledge, support the accreditation of LEED professionals and accelerate the certification of LEED projects in the San Diego region.

The Education Committee’s strategic plan is organized around five initiatives, with subcommittees forming to develop programs supporting each initiative:

• LEED AP Accreditation
• Greening Existing Buildings
• Extending Reach to Strategic Influencers
• College Level Programs*
• Increasing General Public Awareness**

*  In collaboration with EGB
**  In collaboration with LEED for Homes

Please join our committee meetings on on the second Tuesday of each month:
