Content for this session provides a one (1) hour GBCI CE credit for credentialed LEED Accredited Professionals and Green Associates

The first LUNCH + LEED session will highlight water issues in our region and present design solutions for LEED and other best practices. Discussion topics will include water conservation strategies, features and benefits of rainwater harvesting, advantages of using regionally appropriate plantings to maximize water usage, and other water efficiency-related subjects.

Dr. Rosalind Haselbeck will present this session. Dr. Haselbeck is an active Chapter volunteer and co-owner of San Diego-based Building Green Futures, Inc; a company that specializes in the design and installation of green (living) roofs and rainwater harvesting systems. She is a green roof accredited professional, a Certified GreenPoint Rater and a LEEDŽ for Homes Rater In-Training. Dr. Haselbeck also lectures part-time in Biology at the University of San Diego.

This session is supported by the Residential Green Building Committee and the Education Committee volunteer effort and The Design Institute of San Diego.
