The mission of the USGBC-San Diego Education Committee is to raise public awareness about green building, increase technical knowledge, support the accreditation of LEED® professionals and accelerate the certification of LEED® projects in the San Diego region.

The Education Committee’s strategic plan is organized around five initiatives, with subcommittees forming to develop programs supporting each initiative:

• LEED® AP Accreditation
• Greening Existing Buildings
• Extending Reach to Strategic Influencers
• College Level Programs*
• Increasing General Public Awareness**
