Goals
It is the goal of the Education Committee to promote construction processes that are environmentally responsible, profitable and thereby providing the public with buildings that are healthy places to live and work.

The committee is also responsible for the LEED Study Group program, the coordination with USGBC National for LEED Workshops as well as the coordination of the CEU (Continuing Education Credits) for all educational programs the Chapter offers.


LEED Study Group
Organizes and coordinates study groups to help participants prepare for the LEED exams. Currently seeking instructors of which five to six are needed per study group offering. LEED accreditation is preferred but not required. This sub-committee coordinates study group needs in conjunction with Emerging Green Builders.

LEED Workshops
Coordinates the local needs of a USGBC LEED Workshop in our Chapter area. Currently offering four workshops, two in the spring and two in the fall. Currently seeking one or two more helps to be available during these events.
