Emerging Green Builders San Diego 2008 Design Competition

What: Teams and individuals design a LEED Silver (minimum) fire station which will serve an expanding development in northern San Diego. This station will house the City of San Diego's North Fire Station #48 and will be part of Phase 2 of Black Mountain Ranch.

Why: Experience, cash and prizes!

       1st Place: $1,000
       2nd Place: $500
       3rd Place: $250
       4th and 5th: Honorable mentions


NOTE: First place winners will also get travel, lodging and registration to Greenbuild in Boston. If an international registrant should win the local competition, they would be given a stipend to assist in their airfare and hotel, in addition to EGB registration.


National awards are as follows:

       1st Place: $5,000
       2nd Place: $2,000
