Who are we?
The USGBC’s Emerging Green Builders(EGB) is a coalition of students and young
professionals fostering the future leaders of the green building movement. It is a
non-profit and educational organization intent on mobilizing the efforts of the green
building movement.

Mission:
The overall mission of EGB is to promote green buildings. More locally, it is to
provide students and young professionals with a network of others interested in
greening the future of our built environment. EGB will be focused on educating its
members on green building practices and involving them with the local chapter of
the US Green Building Council.

Benefits of Membership:
* Contacts with professionals in the USGBC for potential job opportunities and/or
future green building projects
* Possible LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) study groups
* Educational meetings from Green Building professionals.

How to Get Involved
If you would like more information or to participate in our events, please visit
our group site at http://groups.google.com/group/egb-sd, or contact a current committee member.
