Streamlining Sustainability: LEED in Commercial Real Estate (Download slides)

This session will cover the opportunities and challenges in completing LEED projects and navigating the role of LEED and sustainability in Commercial Real Estate. We will cover how to prioritize sustainability efforts in development, construction, and property management and review case studies, including a local Stage 1 LEED-ND project. 

Presented by Sara Neff, VP of Sustainability for Kilroy Realty CorporationSara oversees sustainability initiatives at Kilroy Realty Corporation such as the implementation of energy and water efficiency projects throughout the portfolio, all LEED certifications, sustainability disclosures, the recycling and green cleaning program, electric vehicle charging station installations, and the greening of building and construction standards. Prior to joining Kilroy, Sara worked at Google and in solar at Idealab, participated in irrigation and soil erosion work in India, and led green consulting projects in Brazil and Argentina.
