Drought 2015: What's happening and what can you do?
Join us for an exciting conversation with Jason Foster and Jeff Stephenson from the San Diego County Water Authority, as we review upcoming news about Southern California's water forecast. This session will include information about water supplies, drought response, and a technical review of available incentives/rebates related to water efficiency.

Jason Foster serves as the director of the Public Outreach and Conservation Department. He supervises the Water Authority’s conservation programs and outreach efforts, including community outreach on construction projects, the agency’s small-business contracting opportunities program (SCOOP), media relations, education programs, and regional communications related to conservation and water supply issues. Prior to coming to the Water Authority in December 2006, Foster served as the media relations manager for San Diego State University and also worked in the San Diego region as a public affairs consultant.
Jeff Stephenson has worked at the San Diego County Water Authority since 1996 and currently oversees its water conservation section. While at the Water Authority, he has worked in a variety of areas, including water supply planning and drought management planning. Before coming to the Water Authority, Jeff spent time working in a congressional office, both in Washington, D.C. and California. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration.
This session will be eligible for one hour of "General" GBCI credential maintenance, to be reported under "Education" activity type.
