LEED and the Culture of the New Workplace

The workplace is rapidly changing, with a renewed focus on why and how we build the places we live, work and play.  Where we work is a place that should be centered around productivity and the human experience.  The new workplace is designed around productivity, collaboration, and the individual - all while being energy and resource efficient.  "LEED and the Culture of the New Workplace" will provide an overview of the principles of innovative and collaborative work spaces, highlight LEEDv4 credits and prerequisites and aspects of the WELL certiication system centered around productivity and comfort, and present a few successful case studies of local, innovative projects. Many characteristics of the new workplace are integrated throughout an organization, stemming from a new culture emerging in the workplace, and a new value placed on the 'human experience' at the workplace.

Note this session will count for 4 hours of GBCI and AIA continuing education
