Drought Response - the Context, Future, and Implications
Sponsored by San Diego Gas & Electric
This session will cover the water forecast for our current California drought conditions, including legislative orders, mandatory reductions, and San Diego’s water source diversity. Water is obviously an extremely important resource, and a necessity for life. San Diego excelled without any imported water until the 1940’s, with it’s economic and population growth so has our demand for water as a resource and commodity. With California’s ongoing drought conditions, our need for conservation and local water resources becomes ever more important.
Join us for an exciting panel discussion on drought response, with representatives of the San Diego County Water Authority, and local water conservation and water reuse professionals.
This session counts for 2 hours of GBCI continuing education. Registration is hosted through the SDG&E Energy Innovation Center: REGISTER HERE
