Foundations for Energy Efficient Building Operations

Sponsored by SDG&E Energy Innovation Center

Preventative maintenance and efficient operations can significantly reduce energy demand and consumption, as well as more accurately plan for future usage. This content provides a framework and templates for basic facilities planning and ongoing maintenance processes in addition to how efficient operations can help a facility achieve green building recognition.

This session will showcase the efforts completed on SDSU's campus and how efficient ongoing operations led to the double LEED Platinum certification of the Aztec Student Union.

This class is eligible for continuing education units from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
