Overview of Sustainable Neighborhoods with Charles Davis, Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation

Join us for an overview of the principles involved in sustainable neighborhood development and urban planning.  The Director of Project Development for the Jacobs Family Foundation, Charles Davis, will be presenting on the Village at Market Creek Sustainable Development

Charles and members of his team will discuss the LEED-ND process, how this applied to the Market Creek development, benefits and challenges, and any lessons learned from engaging the community in the design process.

Presentations begin at 11:45 AM.

This session is supported by the SD-USGBC Programs and Education Committee in partnership with Jimbo's ...Naturally and The Design Institute of San Diego.  This session will be eligible for one hour of GBCI credential maintenance, under 'GBCI-Approved' Activity Type, for either 'Stakeholder Involvement in Innovation' or 'Project Systems and Energy Impacts'.
