USGBC’s LEED green building rating system has been a significant driver for market transformation since its debut in 2000 - coming upon it's newest iteration in LEEDv4. Formerly called LEEDv2012, LEEDv4 was officially launched at GreenBuild in November 2013, after 2 years, an unprecedented 6 public comment sessions, and over 86,000 submitted comments.
This session will provide a general overview of the technical changes and updates to the rating systems included in v4, a review of the development process, and some shared insight from some of the first national beta projects. It will also include an early look at supporting tools and resources for the LEED v4 program, including the new LEEDOnline.
This will provide 4.0 hours of "LEED specific" credential maintenance, to be reported under the 'Education' Activity Type.
