NZE Now: Why, Who and How
California has an ambitious goal of Zero Net Energy (ZNE) by 2030 for all new commercial construction. In addition, by 2030 half of existing buildings will be equivalent to ZNE through progressive retrofits. Our interactive discussion will include:
• What are ZNE buildings and why are they so important?
• What are the impacts on occupants, businesses, and policies?
• What are the central design elements and how do you weave them together?
This engaging seminar will identify the themes and best practices for high performance buildings and show how to dive deeperundefinedgoing all the way into ZNE. Several case studies will be used to help participants begin to practice these ideas
